You may not know how to install ductwork, but you should be able to recognize when poor ventilation is impacting employee productivity. Youshould “know enough about facilities and IT to be dangerous” — or at least be willing to learn those skills.

Managing internal communications is one of the most critical parts of the job description. A great workplace manager should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Like any good workplace leader, you must be able to remain calm while coping with difficult situations. You need to be able to understand and address immediate needs while keeping your eyes trained towards the future.

What You Bring to the Table:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field,
10+ years of experience in a hospitality driven environment,
Solid and demonstrable track record of managing cross functional teams, delivering to business expectations and maintaining a high level of service,
Space planning and multitasking expertise,
A clear vision with regard to the maintenance of a vibrant, functional workplace,
Ability to build rapport with DefineXers in order to accurately assess facilities issues.
